Journey in the Ancient Capital of the Caucasus

Day 1: Meet Us, Yerevan!

Arrival to the Zvartnots International Airport. Guest meeting at the airport waiting room.

Transfer to the 5* hotel in the center of Yerevan. Welcome-drink at the hotel (or late dinner).

Day 2: Pearls of Sevan

Breakfast. Trip to Sevan - one of the most beautiful and largest alpine lakes in the world, which lies like in a thicket surrounded by high mountain ranges. Explore the Sevan Monastery built in 874 on the peninsula.

Lunch at local restaurant will consist of the gifts of the lake, continue our journey to Dilijan.

From the treeless Sevan Province with its rich alpine flora you will reach for a few minutes the thick forests of Dilijan.

We will stop in Dilijan and take part in excursion of an ethnographic street.

Climbing the narrow asphalt road to the depths of the forest where the wonderful monastery Haghartsin (built in the 10-th century) is located.

Return to Yerevan. Dinner will be at one of the Yerevan restaurants offering the traditional Armenian dishes and snacks.

Day 3: Yerevan in Focus

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Yerevan.

Visit the city's main attractions, such as: the Republic Square, Northern Avenue, Victory Park offering the panoramic views to the entire city and the biblical Mount Ararat. Visit the Cascade Monument and the Cafesjian Center for Contemporary Art - a unique architectural structure that connects the center of Yerevan with its northern part.

Lunch at one of the Yerevan restaurants offering an exquisite traditional menu.

After lunch, the tour continues into the Cathedral of St. Echmiadzin - the residence of the Catholicos (Patriarch) of All the Armenians. Echmiadzin is the world's first Christian church.

The Zvartnots Temple built in early Middle Ages is situated close to Echmiadzin; this Temple of Vigil Forces and the Angels of Heaven (The UNESCO World Heritage) is a unique structure of early medieval Armenia (built in the 7th century). It will provide you with an unique opportunity to see a beautiful panorama of the biblical Mount Ararat, on which, according to the legend, Noah's Ark landed after the Flood.

Return to the hotel and rest time.

Farewell gala - dinner at one of the best restaurants in Yerevan.

Day 4: Return Home

Early breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Zvartnots International Airport where we should arrive 2 hours before the departure home.
